Walnut and Rosemary Goat Cheese Balls

Servings 15 balls

Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko
  • 1/2 cup walnuts crushed
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • salt + pepper to taste
  • honey to drizzle

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut the goat cheese into 15 portions (make them more bite size) and roll into balls.
  • Place the balls on the baking sheet and freeze for 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, finely crush the walnuts in a small bowl and then mix in the panko, finely chopped rosemary, salt and pepper.
  • Crack and mix the egg in a separate small bowl.
  • Coat the goat cheese balls in the egg. Then cover in the walnut and panko mixture. Place back on the baking sheet.
  • Bake the goat cheese balls for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Grab a glass of wine, turn on the show and enjoy!
